A Community Wildfire Protection Plan (CWPP) was approved in 2022 for Quadra Island. The CWPP provides a framework that can be used to review and assess areas of identified high fire risk, and to guide the development of emergency plans and procedures, education programs, bylaw development and management of forest lands adjacent to the community.
