Dear New Quadra Island Resident,

On behalf of the local Emergency Program on Quadra Island, I would like to welcome you to our island community, and take this opportunity to tell you a bit about our Emergency Program.

The Fire Department’s non-emergency phone number is 250-285-3262. For a fire emergency, you should call 9-1-1.

Quadra Island is also home to a BC Ambulance station, adjacent to the #1 Fire Hall on Heriot Bay Rd. In the event of a medical emergency, you should call 9-1-1. BC Ambulance on Quadra Island is staffed 24/7 and in an emergency can access transportation off-island after ferry hours.
